Something we hear often is how parents struggle to find group sporting classes for their non-neurotypical kids. Having not had success with mainstream sports such as cricket, soccer and karate often leave parents frustrated and kids disheartened.
At Tactix we aim to provide group sporting options for kids with various diagnoses in an accepting, encouraging, and inclusive setting.
Whilst we aim to eventually have different kids classes available most weekday afternoons we currently have on offer our Wednesday afternoon “Bootcamp” class. This class has been created with the goal in mind of getting kids on the spectrum and with other diagnoses moving correctly in regard to common movement patterns.
Movements such as squatting, running, and throwing often don’t come naturally to our kids however we can help to encourage proper movement patterns to ensure participants are able to grow into their bodies naturally and effectively.
