ABOUT TACTIX TRAINING

Tactix Training was created in 2015 by Head Coach Sean Oultram. Sean was working as a Youth Worker at the time and after looking for some disability-friendly martial arts options for a generally exercise avoidant client, he realised that there were not many options available. This was the case not only in regard to disability-friendly martial arts but also exercise options in general.

As someone who had many years experience working in disabilities as well as being a practicing martial artist, Sean opened Tactix Training and it has grown to where it is today.

Moving forward to 2023 Tactix Training now offers many different services to the community, catering for those with various disabilities or diagnoses as well as neurotypical people. Tactix Training has it’s own disability focussed gym located in Broadmeadow, has mixed martial arts coaches working out of Alpha MMA Cardiff and also has Support Workers catering to clients located in the Hunter Region, Port Stephens as well as the Central Coast.

We pride ourselves on having fantastic staff and having training and exercise options for people from all walks of life.

We feel that everyone deserves the right to attain and maintain a healthy lifestyle and the opportunity to train in a comfortable environment free from judgment.

Tactix Training aims to deliver quality training options to those in our community who have an intellectual disability, physical disability or any other diagnoses. We pride ourselves on offering health and fitness options to those who have special needs and it’s because of this that our gym programs are highly customizable and tailored to our client’s needs/wants in regards to their training.

Although Tactix Training is very much known for our gym training, recently we have started to add other health related services such as Support Work into our business to better serve our customers. Be sure to keep an eye out for any new services that we have on offer.

Our current services include:

  • 1 on 1 Personal Training (30 Mins, 45 Mins & 60 Mins)

  • 1 on 1 Self-Defence & Mixed Martial Arts (30 Mins, 45 Mins & 60 Mins)

  • Inclusive Kid's group programs
